We have had some major good news recently. Following our application to the Plunkett Foundation More Than A Pub scheme, we have received a conditional offer for our funding to save the Prince of Wales Inn. Not only did we get the £50k we applied for (once we meet conditions) they doubled it so we can potentially access £100k.
The next stage is for us to raise additional funds through our community share offer which we are currently working hard to produce.
Huge thanks to all the committee and advisers who have supported us, and also to every single person who filled out a survey because that support was vital.
We’ve still got work to do and we will be in touch with our request for people to buy shares and support us really soon.
We beat a lot of competition to win this funding and the funding panel say they love our campaign and really support our plans to save the pub! Time for a bit of a celebration
