It’s been nearly a year since the local community successfully purchased and re-opened the Prince of Wales Inn in Newtown St Martin.
This year we have been hugely fortunate with our fantastic tenants who have held numerous community events, raised lots of money for local charities and also overseen many clubs and activities once again taking place at the pub.
On Saturday November 11th from 8pm the pub is hosting an anniversary celebration with live music from the fabulous trio Fast Lane. We hope you can join us.
Meanwhile the committee are working away to raise funds for new important projects, including a new shop selling essential items and, importantly, a water treatment plant to ensure that there is good drainage in place for the years to come. This has been a tricky issue for the pub committee this year and the team are working very hard to raise the necessary funds to ensure the works are carried out soon and to ensure the continued success of the pub.
